Joerg Dietz
Now Head of Design at kitchen manufacturer SieMatic, and previously employed by SURTECO, our design expert Joerg Dietz was part of the expert jury for our Sustained Color No. 1: be rooted!
After studying industrial design in Kiel, he worked in various positions at design agencies and in industry. He then worked independently for many years with his wife Christina Balcke-Herlyn as DIETZPRODUKTGESTALTUNG, which she now runs on her own from their office in Bielefeld. The duo has created a large number of award-winning designs. Joerg Dietz has worked freelance for Ars Nova, Venjakob, SMV, Sonae Arauco and Villeroy & Boch, among others.
